This snowflake was captured early in the morning in Park City, during a wrap-around storm.\u00a0 The storm brought heavier snow to Southern Utah and only a few flurries to the Northern Wasatch.\u00a0 The central Wasatch was right in the middle, with calm winds, very cold air and steady light snowfall overnight – perfect conditions for complex & unique snowflake shapes.\u00a0 It was so good that I stayed up all night, snapping thousands of photos over a 12-hour period, as the storm laid a blanket of classic Utah powder on the ski slopes.<\/em><\/p>\n Temperature: 5\u00b0F This image is an Open Edition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Photographed February 22, 2019 in Park City in Utah\u2019s Wasatch Mountains.
