On cold, clear mornings in winter, I often look for frost crystals on our vehicle windows. When the temperatures and humidity are just right, frost can grow into beautiful, organized crystals or other formations. On this particular morning, an amazing assortment of unusual frost patterns decorated the windows, including this wispy heart. The heart was warmed and illuminated by the rising sun, causing it to melt just minutes after being photographed.
